c-pro micro SAVE is a family of programmable controllers for the management of air handling units with crossed ducts heat recuperator.
The devices find a use in those applications where it is required the room air exchange through the introduction of the external cold air and the expulsion of the internal warm one.
The heat of the expelled air is recovered by an exchanger in order to heat the introduced air; a heating coil, located after the exchanger, provides if required a further heating of the air.
c-pro micro SAVE is available in two versions: "compact" and "complete".
The compact version is made of an user interface (Vgraph) and a controller (c-pro micro) and has got::
- real time clock
- 1 measure input (antifreeze temperature) for NTC probes
- 5 digital inputs (presence sensor, on-off and various safeties).
The device can manage the suction fan and the supply one independently, both of them to 3 speeds and moves from a time band to the following one in manual mode, in automatic mode or in automatic mode but with presence sensor.
The controller can also manage the bypass shutter.
The compact version is available in two different models, according to the fans management mode:
- digital (each speed is controlled by an electromechanical relay)
- analog (each speed is programmable through a configuration parameter and is controlled by a speed variator driven by a 0-10 V analog output).
The complete version is made of an user interface (Vgraph) and two controllers (c-pro micro and c-pro EXP micro) instead and in addition to the compact version has got:
- 3 measure inputs (supply air temperature, suction air temperature and new air temperature) for NTC probes
- 5 digital inputs (various safeties).
The controller can also manage the new air shutter and the heating coil (by hot water or electric).
The complete version is available in the two same models of the compact one (digital or analog); in the model where the fans management mode is digital it is also possible to enable a CO2 transducer in order to subordinate the activity of the fans and the new air shutter position to the quantity of room CO2.
The user interface is made of a 128 x 64 pixel single colour LCD graphic display (black with rearlighting through white LED) and a 6 buttons (set, up, down, left, right and escape) membrane keyboard; mounting is:
- by panel

- by wall (built-in), in box like "506"
- by wall, through the support CPVW00 CPVW00 by Evco.
At the front of the user interface one can apply both the plates CPVP* by Evco (to order separetely) and the numerous plates series "Living" and "Light" by BTicino.
Mounting of the controllers is on DIN rail.
The connection among the user interface and the controllers uses the CAN bus.
Through the programming key EVKEY (to order separately) it is possible to make the upload and the download of the configuration parameters.
Through a serial interface (to order separately) it is also possible to connect the controller to the set-up software system Parameters Manager or to the plants monitoring and supervision one RICS (via TTL, with MODBUS communication protocol).
Among the several features one also highlights:
- defrost management
- function "antifreeze"
- function "free cooling" (only in the complete version).
