EVF is a series of digital controllers for normal temperature or low temperature refrigerated showcases which design and which easiness of cleaning have an important part.
The series consists of 4 instruments: EVF204, EVF214, EVF205 and EVF215.
The instruments have got:
- real time clock (only in EVF214 and EVF215)
- alarm buzzer (incorporated in the user interface)
- 3 analog inputs (cabinet probe, evaporator probe and condenser probe) for NTC probes
- 2 digital inputs (door switch and multipurpose)
- 5 digital outputs (electromechanical relays, 4 in EVF204 and EVF214) of which one 30 res. A @ 250 VAC relay for the compressor management, two 16 res. A @ 250 VAC relays for
- defrost and load # 4 management (programmable as cabinet light, demisting heater, auxiliary output, alarm output, door heater, evaporator valve or condenser fan) and two 8 res. A @
- 250 VAC relays for evaporator fan and load # 5 management (this last only in EVF205, EVF215 and programmable just like load # 4); the defrost can be electric or by hot gas
- serial port with MODBUS communication protocol.
The device is available in "split" execution (user interface + control module).
The user interface looks behind a sheet of methacrylate and is made of a 4 digits custom display (with function icons) and 6 capacitive "push buttons" (set, up, down, defrost, cabinet light and on/stand-by); installation is by back-panel, with biadhesive, for its full mechanical and aesthetics integration in the showcase.
The control module looks in open frame board; installation is on plain surface, with spacers.
Through the real time clock it is possible to program up to 6 daily hours for the defrost activation and 1 daily hour for the "Energy Saving" function activation; function "Energy Saving" is also automatically activated, in absence of door switch input activations.
Through function "HACCP" it is possible to store up to 9 events (3 in the instruments without real time clock) for each of the 4 HACCP alarms (lower temperature alarm, upper temperature alarm, door switch input alarm and lack of power supply alarm, this last only in the instruments with real time clock); for each HACCP alarm it is possible to store the citical value, the date and the time the alarm has arisen (these last two only in the instruments with real time clock) and the duration.
Through the programming key EVKEY (to order separately) it is possible to make the upload and the download of the configuration parameters.
Through a serial interface (to order separately) it is also possible to connect the controller to the set-up software system Parameters Manager, to the plants monitoring and supervision one RICS or to the device for the data recording, for the recorded data download (via USB), for the upload and the download of configuration parameters EVUSBREC01 (via TTL, with MODBUS communication protocol).
Among the several features one also highlights:
- frontal protection degree IP65
- direct loads connection (but load # 5) - management of three kind of backlights
- overheated condenser alarm management on two levels
- defrost interval storing
- adaptative management of the defrost (the defrost interval is from time to time function of the evaporator conditions, through the continuous sampling of its temperature)
- temperature alarms management
- compressor working hours counter
- low or high relative humidity percentage operation
- function "overcooling"
- function "lock keyboard". |
