Controllers for blast chillers
EV3 800 is a range of controllers for blast chillers which manage conventional cycles like blast chilling and freezing, both time and temperature controlled, with the hard-soft function. They can also run a test to ensure the needle probe is correctly inserted.
The controllers are available in the compact version with 2 relays or in the split version with 4 relays and a 12 V output which can be used to manage a further external relay. This second version can also manage up to 4 special cycles and is fitted with sealed relays which are suitable for equipment using hydrocarbons.
In the standard 74x32 mm format with 4 capacitive keys and IP65 front protection, the compact version has a single-line LED display, while the split version has a double-line LED display. The controllers are built into the panel with snap-in brackets.
Users can interact remotely with their equipment using the EPoCA® cloud platform with Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity (which also enables alternative or parallel control through MODBUS TCP). Onsite, they can interact from a mobile device with the EVconnect® app which uses Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity.
