Inverter Syncro
Inverters for BLDC synchronous and asynchronous motors with 4,8 and 6 kW power
The EVCO inverters in the Syncro series have been designed for optimum control of permanent magnet synchronous motors (BLDC), which are typically used in compressors for HVAC equipment, like chillers, heat pumps and rooftops. Suitable to the control of asynchronous motors as well, the Synchro inverters can be used as fan speed regulators in heat recovery systems and air handling units.
Available with power capacity of 4,8 and 6 kW, the inverters in the Syncro series drive synchronous motors with sensor-less vector control and asynchronous motors with scalar (V/f) or PID vector control.
The inverters include a command for the reverse of rotation direction and various protection functions, such as a Safe Torque Off input for compliance with the standard EN 61800-5-2 in an integrated safety system. They are equipped with an EMC mains filter which lowers medium- and high-frequency electromagnetic disturbances and an active PFC for reducing current harmonics, in accordance with the standard EN61000-3-2 required in the HVAC/R sector.
The compact dimensions, the open board format and a Slave RS-485 MODBUS port make it an ideal product for Original Equipment Manufacturers, who can have the inverter built into the machine and connect it via serial port to their own control systems. Control can be customized through parameters and can be managed also via analogue and digital input.
